Matt Rolfe B.SC. (Hons)
Exploration Manager – Ashburton Gold Project
Matt is a geologist with over 25 years experience in mining and exploration for gold and base metals across Australia. He has served as Supervising Geologist with Normandy Mining and later in exploration roles as a technical consultant to the Lennard Shelf Teck-Noranda JV and as the Senior Geologist managing Northern Star Resources Pilbara exploration program. Matt was instrumental in developing Northern Star Resources Pilbara exploration strategy and has successfully managed resource definition programs.
Rebekah Cornelius B.SC (Hons)
Project Geologist
Rebekah is an emerging geologist with experience in Gold and Lithium across Australia. She completed a Bachelor of Science (Geology) with Honours from the University of Tasmania in 2017, focusing on economic and environmental geology. Her honours project was completed with the TMVC, working on the geo-environmental characterisation of a low-grade Cu porphyry deposit in Northern Sweden. In 2018 she began her professional career by working as a one of the first Graduate Geologists at Saracen Mineral Holdings (now Northern Star Resources), participating in their Graduate Development Program over a period of ~3 years. Through this program she gained extensive experience in Exploration, Resource Definition, Open Pit, and Underground. In early 2021 she moved into an Underground Mine Geologist role at their Carosue Dam Operations before starting with Kalamazoo Resources in April of the same year. Currently, Rebekah is working on both Gold and Lithium projects in the Pilbara, with particular focus around Marble Bar.
Olaoluwa (Ola) Ibilola BTechApGeol (FUTA), MGeoSc (UWA)
Project Geologist
Ola is a geologist with over 17 years of experience both mining and oil and gas industry. In mining, he worked as a project geologist for Sahara Natural Resources, rig geologist for Kin Mining and as a Mine Geologist for Red five Limited all in the Kalgoorlie-Leonora region of WA exploring for gold.
Ola is also a Chevron trained Petroleum Geoscientist with over 12 years of experience in the International Oil and Gas industry. He has great expertise in oil and gas block appraisals, acquisitions, exploration, development, and production in several petroleum provinces of the world inclusive of the Niger delta.
He has worked with Tulip Energy Resources as lead a Geologist where he helped the group to successfully bid for several marginal fields and blocks in 2005, 2006 and 2007 Nigeria open and mini oil and gas bid rounds respectively. Prior to the bid round he was involved in the data sourcing, prying and evaluation for bid round purposes.
He has worked with Korea National Oil Corporation (KNOC) firstly as project operations and exploration geologist and, in Local Content Management and New Venture Development facilitating several farm-in opportunity across Africa, Europe, and Middle East.
Ola is a member of the African Professionals of Australia (APA), American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG), Nigerian Mining and Geosciences Society (NMGS), Council of Nigerian Mining Engineers and Geoscientists (COMEG), Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorationists (NAPE), Project Management Institute, (PMI) Lagos, Nigeria Chapter and Project Management Institute, Inc (PMI).
Ola joined the Kalamazoo team in early 2022 and has recently been promoted to also take on the role of corporate WHS representative.
