Snake Well North Base Metals Project
The Snake Well North Base Metals Project (EL59/2580) was granted to Kalamazoo in 2022. It is located directly to the north of Snake Well Gold Project, part of Kalamazoo’s IPO in 2017 which KZR sold to Adaman Resources for $7m in .
The Snake Well North Project is ~160km east of Mount Magnet, WA and has historically been explored for gold. More recently this region has been recognised as having significant volcanic-hosted massive sulphide (VHMS) or base metals potential.
Hosted by the Archaean Tallering Greenstone Belt it shares many similarities with 29 Metals’ (ASX: 29M) nearby Golden Grove base metal mine which boasts a 2022 Resource of 61.4Mt @ 1.7% Cu, 0.7 g/t Au, 4.0% Zn, 28 g/t Ag and 0.2% Pb
At Snake Well, Kalamazoo is reprocessing and reviewing historical geophysical data, which has identified several base metal targets which will be the focus of future exploration programs.
